About Avik D. & Csong Bot
Avik Das (Avik D.) is an independent WhatsApp Channel developer and media specialist based in India. He built Csong Bot after years of running music and media channels that needed reliable song uploads without the chaos of open, unmoderated bot groups. The goal was simple: give channel admins a clean, token-verified way to request uploads while keeping spam and replay attacks out.
Why Csong Bot exists
WhatsApp Channels are excellent for one-way broadcasting, but the practical side of posting audio at scale is messy. Open bot groups fill with noise. Shared session numbers get banned. Admins waste time pasting the same command formats and hoping the bot is online. Csong Bot solves that with a short flow: sign in with Google, generate a single-use token tied to your identity, and send a verified command either to the public group or to your own self-hosted bot.
Every token is stored with a unique ID, channel link, song name, and used/unused status. Once the bot processes it, the token cannot be replayed. That design keeps the public group usable and gives self-hosters the same verification layer without reinventing the security rules.

Independence and product philosophy
The project is self-funded. Priorities follow real pain points reported by channel admins rather than abstract roadmaps. Feature decisions are tested against three filters: upload reliability, Firebase security and cost, and clarity for first-time users. If a change makes the token flow harder to understand or increases read costs without a clear benefit, it is rejected.
Csong Bot is not a general-purpose WhatsApp automation suite. It is a focused tool for one job — verified song (and media) upload requests for channels. That narrow scope is intentional. Narrow tools are easier to secure, easier to document, and easier to keep running without constant breaking changes.
How the token system works in plain language
You sign in once with Google. You enter the channel invite link and the song name (or search phrase). The site generates a short command that includes a unique token such as #Avik_D-XXXXXXXX. That token is written to Firestore with your uid, the channel, the song, and a used flag set to false. When the bot receives the command, it looks up the token, confirms it is unused, performs the upload, and marks the token used. A second attempt with the same token fails. Aggregate counters update so the public statistics stay accurate without scanning the entire collection on every page load.
Self-hosting option
Some admins prefer the bot to run on their own WhatsApp number. The Connect Own Bot path (via spider-md.zone.id) exists for that case. The website still issues the same verified tokens; only the receiving number changes. You remain responsible for the session security and for following WhatsApp’s terms on the number you host.

Beyond the uploader, the site publishes original guides on creating channels, choosing names, writing descriptions, growing followers organically, building content calendars, managing admins, reading analytics, and avoiding spammy growth tactics.
